COOKIE

WHAT IS A COOKIE?

A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when you visit a specific website. This text stores the information that will be read by the website the next time it is visited from the same device. Basically, cookies are useful since they allow a website to recognise your device.

Cookies have different functions:

They help you navigate through the different pages of the website more efficiently, storing your preferences and generally improving your browsing experience. In some cases, cookies allow you to be shown the promotions that may interest you the most. Some of these cookies are necessary for the proper operation of the website, while others are useful because they are able to securely store such details like the user name or the language settings. The advantage of having the cookies installed in your PC is that once installed, you no longer need to fill in the same information every time you want to access a website you have previously visited.

Some cookies are automatically deactivated at the end of the session (from the moment in which the user opens the browser and when he leaves the browser). Other cookies are saved on the user’s device for a longer period (usually, these cookies are used to store the preferences and choices of the user visiting the website or to profile sales promotions).

The website may contain both original cookies, and third-party cookies, i.e. such cookies that are activated from a different domain than the websites.

WHY DOES VALDUCCI USE COOKIES?

Valducci uses cookies in order to provide a browsing and shopping experience based, as much as possible, on users’ needs and preferences. By using the cookies, Valducci ensures that every time you visit the website  you should not receive or have to enter the same information. Cookies are also used to optimize the performances of the web site since they make easier both the final purchase process and the quick search of items and products within the website.

WHICH ARE THE COOKIES ENABLED ON THIS WEBSITE?

Valducci Web S.r.l. keeps active on its website the following types of cookies:

1. Essential cookies: they are necessary for browsing the website and using its several features, including access to restricted areas. Without these cookies, the e-commerce area (for example, purchases and payment functions) may not work.

2. Cookies that improve website functioning: these cookies collect information about how the website is visited, for example, which are the most visited pages. These cookies do not collect user identifying information, but only aggregated and anonymous data. They are exclusively used to improve website performance.

3. Cookies that run certain functionalities: these cookies enable the website to remember your preferences (for example, your username, language, country, etc.) consequently providing a more customized browsing experience. This will allow us to offer exactly the service you have requested.

4. Cookies profiling commercial offers: these cookies enable us to present those commercial offers in which you could be more likely interested. They could also operate in limiting the number of times a particular commercial offer is presented to you since they could be used to assess how much a specific promotional campaign has been effective. These cookies collect information about your browsing habits in order to offer those promotions that most likely can meet your interest.
